  • Turf wars - Where should we fly Rabbitohs and Roosters banners?

Randwick City is home to two proud NRL teams – the Sydney City Roosters and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Randwick City Council supports both sides and each year we fly street banners as part of our City-wide banner program in support of the teams.

But have we got it right? We want to know from supporters what banners you think we should fly in each location.

Do our survey and comment in the forums to let us know what you think!

Light rail to Randwick is happening! Randwick City Council has worked hard to bring light rail to Randwick and, thanks to the support of the community, the State Government is now in the detailed planning stages of the project.

Council has released a light rail support plan to reduce the impact of light rail on local residents and businesses. We'll be consulting thoroughly with the community on each of the components of this place.

Currently we want to know what you think about Council’s plans to acquire land on Rainbow Street in Kingsford next to the Kingsford 9-ways roundabout to create a multi-storey car park. Is car parking important to you and would this help local businesses and residents affected by the loss of parking from light rail?
